Please accept this letter as my resignation from the position of After-School Tutor<Position Volunteered> at the State Library<the Institution’s Name> effective October 15, 2008<Your Last Day as a Volunteer>.

I have enjoyed my role as a After-School Tutor<Position Volunteered>, but due to other pending obligations I will not be able to volunteer myself at this level of time commitment. However, I shall surely consider returning in the future.

Before leaving, I will be happy to familiarize the person who replaces me with the demands of the job.
